Felix Cabreja is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of A&H Security Services, LLC, one of New York City’s largest Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) security providers. His journey from an immigrant upbringing to leading a large-scale security organization reflects decades of perseverance, entrepreneurship, and commitment to community.

Felix immigrated to the United States as a young child and grew up in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Those early experiences helped shape his strong work ethic and deep appreciation for community. From a young age he balanced school, work, and athletics, developing the discipline, teamwork, and determination that would later define his leadership style.

After graduating from Aviation High School in Queens with a focus on avionics, Felix began his professional career in the security industry in an entry-level position. Through hands-on experience working in building operations and security roles, he developed a strong understanding of client service, property operations, and workforce management.

Driven by an entrepreneurial mindset, Felix launched his first security company in the late 1980s. The business was initially started out of his apartment and operated with the support of his immediate family, reflecting the grassroots beginnings of what would later grow into a large security organization. Through dedication and steady growth, the company secured one of New York City’s early Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certifications in the early 1990s. This milestone enabled the organization to pursue municipal contracts and expand its presence across the city. Recognizing the importance of training and professional development in the industry, Felix also established The School for Asset Protection to provide formal training and certification opportunities for security personnel.

Over the years, Felix has successfully navigated the challenges of building and growing multiple security operations while developing strong relationships within both the public and private sectors. His experience ultimately led to the formation and expansion of A&H Security Services, which has grown into one of the largest MBE security companies operating in New York City.

Today, A&H Security employs approximately 2,000 security officers and provides services across a wide range of government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and private sector clients. Under Felix’s leadership, the company has built a reputation for professionalism, operational reliability, and the ability to support complex security contracts at scale.
